MAINE, USA — This ended up being a pretty consistent storm statewide. Most areas saw around 6" of light, fluffy snow. The exception is near the coast from Rockland east, where it was a bit wetter. It will keep snowing into the afternoon in northern Maine; parts of Aroostook County will end up with a bit higher than first thought.

The snow is over in southern Maine; it will be ending during the morning in central and eastern Maine.

This afternoon we'll have a mix of clouds and sun with temperatures in the 20s to low 30s. There will be a bit of a northwest breeze that may blow some of the fresh snow around, especially in open areas.

Tonight a few snow showers are possible in eastern Maine. By morning, temperatures will be down into the single digits and teens.

The week ahead looks dry with cold weather to start, moderating toward late week.

Wind chills Tuesday morning will be well below zero, especially inland.
