Try wild Maine blueberries in your gingerbread

Rockland chef and restaurant owner, Lynn Archer, shares her Maine take on a classic gingerbread.

ROCKLAND, Maine — 1/2 C sugar
1/2 C butter
1 egg
1 C molasses
2&1/2 cup flour
1&1/2 tsp baking soda
1 tsp cinnamon
1 tsp ginger
1/2 tsp cloves
3/4 cup very hot water
1 cup blueberries

Cream butter & sugar add egg and molasses.

Mix dry ingredients.

Mix together; fold in blueberries. Bake 350* 50-60 mins.
