"For the past two months, Maine Drug Enforcement agents and officers of the Berwick Police Department conducted an investigation into illegal drug trafficking from a single-family residence at 19 Katabel Lane," Maine State Police said in a statement. "The investigation began after numerous complaints and safety concerns were received from community members of suspected illegal drug trafficking, and disturbances, taking place at the residence.

"Upon arrival officers observed several items being thrown from a window of the residence, later to be identified as pre-packaged fentanyl for resale," police said. "A search of the residence resulted in the seizure of over 140 grams of fentanyl, 10 grams of methamphetamine, digital scales, and other evidence indicative of illegal drug trafficking. The approximate value of the seized drugs is $15,000."
