BERWICK, Maine — Berwick Police announced on social media that Knox Lane has been reopened after a developing police situation this morning closed the road.
The Maine Drug Enforcement Agency and Berwick police are executed a drug-related search warrant, Maine Department of Public Safety spokesperson Shannon Moss told NEWS CENTER Maine.
According to Moss, there were several arrests after a joint investigation between the two agencies. She said a tactical team responded to the scene as well.
Berwick police posted on Facebook just after 6:30 a.m. warning people to avoid Knox Lane because the road was closed from Pine Hill to Partridge Lane due to "police operations."
