If you missed out on Maine Maple Sunday due to last weekend's storm, you'll get another shot this weekend.
Many sugar shacks across the state will be open this weekend, offering events like boiling demonstrations, woods tours, live music, horse-drawn hayrides, pancake breakfasts, and more.
The storm walloped the state this past weekend, knocking out power to more than 180,000. Some took advantage of the 41st annual Maine Maple Sunday, but others were snowed in or without power and unable to attend.
Below is a partial list of sugar shacks that will be open this weekend to make up for it. Search a map of all Maine maple producers here.
- Coopers Maple Products in Windham is open Saturday 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
- Treehouse Brand Maple is open Saturday 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.
- Sweet Freedom Maple Syrup in Freedom is open Saturday
- Waterhouse Family Farm in Hollis Center is open Saturday at 10 a.m.
- Wilson Family Maple Syrup & Echo Valley Farm in Albion is open Saturday and Sunday, 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
- Spring Break Maple & Honey in Smyrna Mills is open Saturday
- Williams Family Farms in Clifton is open Saturday 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. will be open 9-4 Saturday March 30. We will have everything available except the pancakes.
- Nutkin Knoll Farm in Newburgh Village is open Saturday 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. will be open 9-4 on Saturday!
- Haulk’s Maple in Madison is open Saturday and Sunday, 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
- 207 Tappers in Biddeford is open Saturday 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.
- Slattery's Farm in West Minot is open Saturday 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.
- Williams Family Farms will be open 9-4 Saturday March 30. We will have everything available except for the pancakes.
- Luce's Maple Syrup in Anson is open Saturday and Sunday, 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.
- Scenic View Sugaring in Limerick is open Saturday 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.
- Back Ridge Sugar House in Winterport is open Saturday and Sunday 10-4
- Mike’s Maple House in Winthrop is open Saturday 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.
- Hidden Roots Maple Farm in Limerick is open Saturday 9 a.m. to 12 p.m.
- Greene Maple Farm in Sebago is open Saturday and Sunday from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.
- Pingree Maple Products in Cornish is open Saturday at 9 a.m.
- Tessier Farm in Skowhegan is open Saturday 8 a.m. to 12 p.m.
- Bacon Farm Maple Products in Sidney is open 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.
