On Election Day, polls close in Maine at 8 p.m. Key races for Nov. 6 include the presidential election with Vice President Kamala Harris and former President Donald Trump. Incumbent Sen. Angus King, I-Maine, faces challengers in a crucial Senate race. In the competitive 2nd Congressional District, Democrat Rep. Jared Golden faces Republican challenger Austin Theriault. Maine's 1st Congressional District is also on the ballot, with senior Rep. Chellie Pingree facing two challengers. Voters will also decide on Question 5, which addresses restoring Maine's former state flag.
