MAINE, Maine — Leaves rustling as they're whipped to the ground, fog hanging over the neighborhood, Halloween is supposed to be a little spooky. But, tonight's weather will be straight out of the movie itself.
While showers will plague us off and on throughout the day, I'm actually thinking we may get a rain-free window during the trick-or-treat hours, especially over the southern half of the State.
The rain may be letting up, but the wind won't. Southerly winds will be screaming in off the Gulf of Maine this evening. A low-level inversion will keep the big gusts from getting down to the surface, but a gust or two to 40 mph will be likely.
Some good news, it will be quite warm for your little ghosts and goblins. Expect balmy temps in the mid 60s!
Have fun and be safe. If it starts to get real bad, use common sense, turn around and head indoors.
