Two spots in Caribbean Sea have low development chances

All tropical developments look to remain far south in the Caribbean Sea

NEW ORLEANS —

Tracking the Tropics:

There are two spots to watch in the Caribbean Sea for possible tropical development. Invest 94 is one of them and is currently in the central tropical Atlantic waters. It could develop near the Lesser Antilles later this week as a tropical depression. Another area may form in the western Caribbean Sea and move west into Central America. There are no threats to the Gulf Coast or continental United States as all developments look to remain far to the south.
