A hurricane was only 500 miles offshore of New York City during the 9/11 terrorist attacks.

Weather can change history; just look at D-Day.

On September 11, 2001 a hurricane was about 500 miles away from New York City.

If the storm had been farther west, could that have prevented or at least hampered the terrorist attacks that occurred that day?
