We've got another hot one on the way for Tuesday. Temps will approach 90 in spots and the humidity will be spiking, too.
A coldfront will sweep in this afternoon and trigger scattered thunderstorms. Some may pulse to severe limits producing damaging wind gusts and torrential rain.
Storms may fire as early as 1 p.m. in the mountains but will hold off until after 3 p.m. along the coast. The threat will last through sunset
The front and storms will squeeze the heat and humidity out of the atmosphere and drier, more comfortable air will return for the second half of the week.
