SCARBOROUGH, Maine — A section of Gorham Road in Scarborough closed Thursday as emergency officials responded to a crash.
As of 1:30 p.m., the road was back open to one lane of traffic between Ridgeway Street and Spring Street, the Scarborough Fire Department said in a social media post.
A pole was struck in the crash, and several traffic lights in the area of Payne Road and Mussey Road were not functioning for a period of time, according to police. As of 1:30 p.m., the traffic lights were back on but there were still traffic backups in the area.
The Scarborough police and fire departments responded to the scene.
