Three injured in Scarborough crash

No road closures were in place as of 12:15 p.m., but officials were slowly flagging drivers through the area.

SCARBOROUGH, Maine — Three people were injured in a crash in Scarborough on Tuesday.

It happened in the area of 162 Route 1, near the Sherwin-Williams Paint Store.

Three vehicles were involved in the crash. Two people were in one of the vehicles, and one person was in each of the other vehicles, Scarborough police told NEWS CENTER Maine.

Three people were taken to a hospital to be treated for their injuries, according to police. They are expected to be okay, officials said.

No road closures were in place as of 12:15 p.m., but officials were slowly flagging drivers through the area.
