SANFORD, Maine — One person was taken to a hospital after being hit by a vehicle in Sanford on Sunday.
Sanford police say Nickolas Knowles, 18, was hit by a car driven by 39-year-old Isaac Lehoux around 7 p.m. near Main Street and Gerrish Drive.
Lehoux was arrested and charged with operating under the influence causing bodily injury. Knowles was taken to Maine Medical Center to be treated for his injuries.
Officials ask anyone who witnessed the incident or knows any information to call Sanford police.
