Lynch was taken by ambulance to a nearby hospital for treatment of minor injuries, police said.

Four northbound travel lanes within the cash toll collection area of the toll plaza were closed for approximately two and a half hours, but the open road toll lanes and two travel lanes of the toll plaza remained operational.
