Crash in Gorham under investigation

The intersection of Flaggy Meadow Road and Cressy Road reopened just before 4 p.m.

GORHAM, Maine — A motor vehicle crash in Gorham early Tuesday afternoon led officials to close the intersection of Flaggy Meadow Road and Cressy Road, which reopened a few hours later.

The Cumberland County Regional Communications Center announced the closure around 1:50 p.m. saying drivers should seek alternate routes.

Traffic was denied access between Route 25 (State Street) and Route 202 (Narragansett Street) throughout the afternoon.

NEWS CENTER Maine crews at the scene said the road reopened and the scene was cleared around 3:50 p.m.
