SACO, Maine — Multiple lanes of the Maine Turnpike in Saco were shut down Monday night due to a crash involving a tractor-trailer truck and car.
Just before 8:30 p.m., Maine State Police said on X, formerly Twitter, a car and a tractor-trailer truck collided while heading northbound on the Maine Turnpike at mile marker 37 in Saco.
All three northbound lanes were shut down as well as the southbound passing lane, and vehicles are able to leave the highway at Exit 36 headed northbound, police said.
In an update, Maine State Police said all lanes have reopened to traffic as of 11:30 p.m.
