CLIFTON, Maine — Two people were injured in a rollover crash in Clifton on Friday, Aug. 23.

It happened shortly before 11:15 p.m. on Rebel Hill Road, which is also Route 180, the Penobscot Sheriff's Office said Thursday in a press release.

Christopher Fickett, 25, and Addreanna Seavey, 23, both of Clifton, were thrown from the vehicle. They were taken to a hospital in critical condition, according to officials.

The crash remains under investigation. However, the sheriff's office said speed and alcohol may have been contributing factors.
