CAPE ELIZABETH, Maine — Cape Elizabeth police are searching for a person who hit a pedestrian with their car late Monday morning before leaving the scene of the crash.
The crash happened around 11 a.m. Monday on Ocean House Road, near Spurwink Avenue, police said in a social media post.
Police believe a red/maroon vehicle, possibly a Subaru Forester, hit the pedestrian before driving away. The person was taken to an area hospital with injuries not considered life-threatening.
