Propane truck crash closes road in Bowdoin

BOWDOIN, Maine — Emergency crews responded to the area of 160 Dead River Road in Bowdoin on Friday due to a rollover crash.

The crash involved a propane truck, a Sagadahoc County dispatcher told NEWS CENTER Maine.

As of 2:15 p.m. Friday, Dead River Road was closed where it intersects with Academy Road.

"Please avoid the area and use an alternative route for everyone’s safety," the Sagadahoc County Emergency Management Agency said in a social media post.

As of 2 p.m. Friday, no propane was leaking and there were no injuries, the dispatcher told NEWS CENTER Maine.
