Elle Logan made her Olympic debut at the 2008 Games in Beijing. Since then, the Maine native has won two Olympic gold medals. She will try to earn a third this year in Rio.

OTHER CAREER HIGHLIGHTS: Three gold ('14, '11, '10), one silver ('09) and one bronze ('15) at the World Rowing Championships — all three first-place finishes came in the women's eight; the other two medals were won in the women's four and women's pair, respectively. Three-time World Rowing Cup champion ('16, '15, '11) in the women's eight. Member of NCAA Division I national champion rowing team in 2009. Named 'Pac-12 Women's Rower of the Century.'
OTHER NOTES: Currently trains in Princeton, N.J. Began rowing in 2003 after watching a friend compete at the Head of the Charles Regatta. Attended secondary school at Brooks School in North Andover, Mass. While there, was an exchange student to Uganda and school prefect in 2006. When training, always wears the gold bangles she was given on that Uganda trip. Enjoys watching "Pride & Prejudice' with her sister, Jessamine, and visiting the farmers' market.
