PORTLAND, Maine (NEWS CENTER) -- A former University of Maine and Husson University football player is now looking for a new team after being cut by the Detroit Lions.
Enfield-native Matt Mulligan was waived earlier today as we enter the fourth and final week of the NFL preseason.
The tight end, who is best known for his ability to block, was fighting amongst four other tight ends to try and land a spot on the Lions roster.
