One of the best features of the site, you may have already seen – the homepage. The layout allows us to feature the most important local, national and international stories affecting you. The new look also allows for more eye appeal with videos and photos prominently displayed.
On the right side of the page, you will notice that we have the most recent stories, videos and photo galleries that have been posted to WLBZ2.com to make sure you know the latest stories that we're bringing to you. On the left you'll find alerts for live video streams and a link to send us your news tips.
Poking around WLBZ2.com
We've made it easier for our audience to find exactly what they're looking for through our navigation tabs at the top of the page.
You're able to click each tab and find the latest weather, local, national, sports and features on our site. Under the LOCAL tab, which is next to the weather tab, you'll find the stories impacting you most. You'll also find our coverage of the recent elections.
NATION NOW provides the latest national news from USA Today, and you can see where other Gannett stations and newspapers are located.
If you hover over the WEATHER tab, which shows the current temperature, you can get a quick peek at the forecast for the day. If you click on it, you'll go to the weather page for the latest video forecast, interactive radar, weather maps for the region or nation as well.
By clicking the SPORTS tab, you'll find the latest news, videos and photos on everything from high school, college and the pros.
The FEATURES section showcases the community events, entertainment and other watercooler stories to discuss with your friends. You can also find recipes and video clips from your favorite NBC shows.
Our ABOUT page tells you exactly that, more about WLBZ 2, our history, mission and staff. You can also get information on how to contact or advertise with us, apply for a job or internship and get TV listings.
Next to the About tab, you'll see a little camera. If you click on it, you'll see the latest videos and photo galleries posted to WLBZ2.com and you can sort them by news, sports, or features.
As you can see, you can spend hours going through the site and finding new and exciting information about our community.
