BAR HARBOR, Maine (NEWS CENTER) -- A timelapse cinematographer and photographer from Chicago captured a beautiful time lapse of Acadia National Park.
Mark Irion published the video on YouTube and Vimeo. He also posted it to the Maine thread on Reddit, saying "I recently visited Maine and created this timelapse of Acadia National Park. I figured you guys would enjoy it."
Irion said he uses a motorized slider that he programs before each shot with exactly what he wants it to do.
"Sleeping on top of Cadillac Mountain is a cool experience, though. Even though the shot didn't really turn out" he said.
According to Irion's Vimeo page, he focuses primarily on narrative filmmaking, though he loves to experiment.
