GREENLAND, N.H. — Two drivers were seriously injured after a head-on crash in Greenland, New Hampshire that closed all southbound lanes of Interstate 95 Wednesday evening.
New Hampshire state troopers responded to a reported rollover crash on I-95 in Greenland just after 6 p.m., according to a news release from the New Hampshire Department of Safety.
A vehicle traveling northbound crossed the median and struck a vehicle headed southbound head-on, according to the release. Both drivers involved suffered serious injuries that were not considered life-threatening and were brought to Portsmouth Regional Hospital. Both drivers were the sole occupants in their vehicles, the release stated.
The drivers' identities are being withheld at this time. No charges have been filed.
All southbound lanes of I-95 were closed for roughly one hour due to the crash, according to the release.
The Greenland Police and Fire Departments, North Hampton Fire & Rescue, and the New Hampshire Department of Transportation assisted at the scene.
