WESTBROOK, Maine (NEWS CENTER) — State Rep. Drew Gattine, D-Westbrook, Tuesday night shared a Facebook event announcing a 'Rally for Decency' event being held Wednesday in Westbrook.
Along with event, the lawmaker had this to share within the post:
I hope that people will turn out for this important event in Westbrook tomorrow evening. Come help us return a positive message and sense of decency to our political system. Westbrook and Maine deserve better. Please bring a donation for My Place Teen Center.
The event will follow a Wednesday morning meeting between Gattine and Governor LePage.
The Facebook event, which appears to be hosted by Westbrook City Council's Ward One/Council President Brendan Rielly, lists the rally as being held at Riverbank Park from 6 to 7 p.m.
