AUBURN, Maine (NEWS CENTER) -- Auburn Police have arrested 22-year-old Mark Sinclair, a transient from Peru and a 17-year-old male juvenile from Auburn in connection with a purse snatching that occurred at the Auburn Mall back on February 21, 2016.
Police say both suspects were riding around in a vehicle stolen from Lewiston when Sinclair jumped from the vehicle and knocked a 16-year-old to the ground and took her purse.
Police say Sinclair was currently out on bail for a previous theft charge. Detective Bell arrested the 17-year-old juvenile and charged him with Criminal Conspiracy to commit robbery Wednesday.
Sinclair is currently being held without bail at the Androscoggin County Jail, he is being charged with one count of robbery.
The 17-year-old juvenile is currently being held at the Long Creek Juvenile Detention Center pending a court appearance later this week.
