LeBron James and Draymond Green embrace after Cavaliers win NBA Finals

LeBron James and Draymond Green didn't exactly see eye-to-eye over the course of the NBA Finals, as was seen more than once, particularly with their altercation in Game 4 that ultimately ended in Green's suspension.

LeBron James and Draymond Green didn't exactly see eye-to-eye over the course of the NBA Finals, as was seen more than once, particularly with their altercation in Game 4 that ultimately ended in Green's suspension.

But on Sunday night, after the Cavaliers claimed the first championship in Cleveland professional sports in the last 52 years, James and Green shared a moment prior to the Cavs' on-court trophy ceremony, showing respect for one another after such an emotionally-driven, closely-fought battle.

In the postgame press conference, Green reiterated that respect.

"Gotta give them a lot of credit," Green said. "They were down 3-1. They continued to battle. They never quit. Their leaders led. LeBron put the team on his back, Kyrie put the team on his back, and everybody followed suit ... they deserved to win it."
