27 looks good on her.

On May 29, 1989, Riley Keough — whose first name is actually Danielle btw — upped the world's population by one.

It's easy to think the model turned actress has at some point said, "Thank you, thank you very much," for being born to Lisa Marie Presley and musician Danny Keough. But the birthday girl hasn't banked on her bloodline or hitched a ride on the sequined coattails of her legendary grandfather (Elvis) to get where she is today.

Here's a timeline of her hard work:

Feb. 2004, D&G Fashion Show

Keough started modeling at the age of 14. In 2004, she werked D&G's Fall/Winter collection for 2004/2005 in Milan. She's also appeared in campaigns for David Yurman and Dior.

March 2010, The Runaways

From the runway to The Runaways. In this flick about the '70s rock band, Keough played Marie Currie, sis of Cherie played by Dakota Fanning. Kristen Stewart also starred as Joan Jett.

June 2012, Magic Mike

Keough joined this muscly cast as Nora, a stripper who had a tryst with Alex Pettyfer's character in the film. In real life, Keough and Pettyfer dated and were reportedly engaged.

Aug. 2012, The Good Doctor

Despite the movie's title, Orlando Bloom played a pretty unethical doc in this film. His character, Dr. Martin Blake, fell in love with his patient played by Keough.

Oct. 2013, Justin Timberlake's TKO video (NSFW)

Directed by Ryan Reichenfeld who co-write the video along with Timberlake, Keough plays a girlfriend who has gone over the edge. In the NSFW music vid, she drags Timberlake behind her truck, before tuck and rolling out of the vehicle that moments later drives over a cliff with Timberlake attached. Yeah, it's pretty intense.

May 2015, Mad Max: Fury Road

Keough played Capable in the flick directed by George Miller. Her co-stars included Charlize Theron, Tom Hardy, Nicholas Hoult, Zoë Kravitz, and Rosie Huntington-Whiteley. She also met her husband, stuntman Ben Smith-Petersen, on this film. The two wed Feb. 4, 2015 in Napa.

April 2016, The Girlfriend Experience

On April 10, Starz premiered its new series about a confident law student who opts for a change in occupation after she experiences the lifestyle of a high-end escort. See why we got hooked here.

It might surprise some that Keough told USA TODAY's Andrea Mandell that she wasn't anxious about filming the provocative scenes.

"I didn't really have nerves about shooting sex scenes. I had nerves about doing a TV show because I'd never done a TV show before," she confessed. "I thought the transition from film to television was gonna be completely crazy, but... the whole idea behind it was to shoot a TV show using the format of independent film. So, it was like a movie. So, I really had nothing to be afraid of."

We're wishing this fierce and fearless female a very happy birthday.
