New Hampshire State Police say they arrested Vicki Thibodeau of North Billerica, Mass. Wednesday, March 6, after she led police on a chase from Wakefield to Dover.

DOVER, New Hampshire — A mom from Massachusetts leads police on a chase through New Hampshire with her teenage daughter in tow all while being intoxicated, according to police.

New Hampshire State Police say they arrested Vicki Thibodeau of North Billerica, Mass. Wednesday, March 6, after she led police on a chase from Wakefield to Dover.

Police say they tried to pull over Thibodeau for several traffic violations but she would not stop.

Officers had to use tire deflation or stop sticks to ultimately thwart Thibodeau who was driving a pickup truck. Thibodeau immediately surrendered after her truck was stopped. The 39-year-old mother had her 16-year-old daughter in the truck during the chase.

Police say Thibodeau was driving with a suspended license from a previous driving while intoxicated conviction. Police say she has five prior DUI convictions.

Thibodeau is being charged with several offenses including drunk driving, disobeying a police officer, operating after suspension, reckless conduct, reckless operation, and speeding.

Anyone who saw the chase is asked to call Sgt. Nicholas Levesque or Trooper Alexa Williamson at 603-323-3333.
