ROCHESTER, New Hampshire (NEWS CENTER) -- Rochester Police have charged a Barnstead, New Hampshire man in connection with an assault at a bar in Rochester,
Police say they have charged 41-year-old Eric Langlais in the death of 44-year-old James Unfonak of Rochester.
According to Rochester Police, they responded to an assault in the parking lot of Gary's Sports Bar in Rochester where they found Unfonak seriously injured. Police say Unfonak was transported to Maine Medical Center, where he later died from his injuries.
Police said the Maine Medical Examiner’s Office reported Unfonak died from blunt force trauma to the head and manner of death was considered homicide.
Langlais turned himself into police Friday afternoon.
Police charged Langlais with riot and manslaughter.
Police said Langlais is being held on $25,000 cash bail at the Strafford County Jail and will be arraigned on Tuesday, February 16th at Strafford County Superior Court.

Update: Two women were also charged in connection to the crime. As a result of the investigation by Rochester Police two females were arrested Friday morning in relation to the incident that occurred at Gary’s Sports Bar.
Mandy Patch, 37, of Rochester, has been charged with Simple Assault and Riot.
Laurie Henner, 41, of Farmington, has been charged with only Riot.
Both were released on $10,000 bail.
