Maine reacts to death of state trooper, killed along I-95

Local, county and state agencies offered their condolences to Maine State Police.

Many of Maine's law enforcement agencies and public figures reacted to the death of a Maine State Police detective on Wednesday.

Detective Ben Campbell was outside of his cruiser helping a driver along I-95 when he was fatally struck by a tire that fell off a logging truck, state police said.
