YARMOUTH, Maine — A missing Yarmouth teen has been safely located, police say.
The Yarmouth Police Department posted on Facebook that the 13-year-old was last seen around 5 p.m. on Tuesday.
Shortly after 1:45 a.m. Wednesday, police updated the post stating the teen had been found safe by a Yarmouth firefighter.
The public was advised Tuesday evening to avoid the area of Frank Knight Forest while police searched the area with canines.
