CARMEL, Maine (NEWS CENTER) -- State Police are surprised that in a crash that included at least 75 cars on I-95, no one was killed. Peggy Leonard was one of the drivers involved and only had minor injuries.

"I was very very lucky," Leonard said.

Her car literally became wedged between two tractor trailers along the interstate. The front end of her car sustained heavy damage.

She was taken to Eastern Maine Medical Center's Walk in Care facility on Union Street for treatment.

"There were a lot of people being carried out by stretchers hurt a lot worse than me," she said.

She added that a doctor told her she suffered some muscle strain but is otherwise okay.
