WELLS, Maine — The Wells Police Department says a 15-year-old girl has been located.
The teenager had last been seen in Biddeford on Saturday, Sept. 28, the department said Tuesday in a social media post. She was with other juveniles at the time, police said.
She had reported to her family that she was OK, but she would not disclose her location, according to police. The teenager was believed to be in the Sanford or southern New Hampshire area and had expressed she did not want to come home.
In an update Wednesday night, Wells police indicated on social media the teenager had been located.
