RANGELEY, Maine (NEWS CENTER) — The identity of a man who was killed during an apparent home invasion early Thursday morning has been released by police.
State Police, together with the state medical examiner's office, concluded 29-year-old Michael Bokun of New York died from a gunshot wound to the chest, according to Dept. of Public Safety spokesperson Stephen McCausland.

As previously reported, two others were injured in the incident. Police identified one as 48-year-old Hector Munoz, also of New York, but withheld the other's name. Police did say he was the resident of the Rangeley house where the confrontation took place.
Munoz was treated at Central Maine Medical Center for a head injury, released and then arrested on a probation violation, which police said was unrelated to the Rangeley incident. He's being held at Androscoggin Jail.
The resident of the home whose name was withheld remains hospitalized with non-life threatening injuries, police said.
Police said the investigation continues.
