ANDOVER, Maine — A vehicle crashed into a convenience store in Andover early Tuesday morning.

The crash occurred around 6:35 a.m. at Mills Market on 25 S Main Street, according to a press release from the Oxford County Sheriff’s Office.

Deputies responded to an initial report indicating a vehicle had crashed through the front of Mills Market.

Upon arrival, deputies located a 2012 Ford F-350 pickup truck just outside the store.

After an investigation, deputies identified the driver as a 50-year-old individual from Andover, who was pulling into the parking area of the market when the driver’s foot slipped off the brake and hit the accelerator, causing the truck to propel forward into the storefront, the release stated.

No injuries were reported, but Mills Market sustained structural damage.
