Oct. 17, 2016

An autopsy report detailed how Valerie Tieman's body was found. A bag of potato chips, a bottle of perfume and a note that reportedly had an 'apologetic tone' were all discovered with her body in a shallow grave. It was determined that she died from gunshot wounds to the head and neck.

Nov. 18, 2016

Luc Tieman pleaded 'not guilty' in Somerset County Superior Court. When leaving the courthouse, he told reporters, “God bless our families. God bless Donald Trump.”

Dec. 5, 2017

Luc Tieman's lawyer moves to suppress statements Tieman allegedly made to detectives following his wife Valerie's death, reporting that he witnessed her die of a heroin overdose.
