HARRINGTON, Maine (NEWS CENTER) -- Rather than cutting into his turkey dinner, a robber found a far nastier use for his knife on Thanksgiving morning.

With a six-inch blade in hand, the robber ordered the cashier at an Irving gas station in Harrington to hand over all the money in the register.

Due to a hooded jacket obscuring his features, Maine State Police offered only a limited description of the robber as a tall, white male.

Police said he drove off with the money in a light blue, crossover SUV.

Anyone with information about the robbery can call Trooper Jeffrey Taylor at (207) 973-3700.
