Construction worker injured after getting run over by excavator in Stow

The worker was flown to Maine Medical Center, Saco Valley Fire Association Chief Harold Drew told NEWS CENTER Maine.

STOW, Maine — A construction worker was flown to Maine Medical Center on Tuesday after being run over by an excavator.

It happened around 11:30 a.m. on South Barbour Road in Stow, Saco Valley Fire Association Chief Harold Drew told NEWS CENTER Maine.

Drew would not speculate on the extent of the worker's injuries.

Officials have not publicly identified the worker.
