Investigators determined the pileup started with an SUV which lost control on the slippery pavement.
Massive pileup

(NEWS CENTER) -- State Police have released a detailed report into the moments before and after the massive multi-vehicle pileup on 1-95 Wednesday February 25.

According to the report 102 vehicles were involved in the crash, with 149 total people involved. 32 people were injured as a result of the crash, all non-life threatening.

Out of the 149 occupants involved in the incident 148 of them were either wearing a seatbelt, in a safety seat or were on a school bus.

Investigators determined the pileup started with an SUV which lost control on the slippery pavement.

Last week state officials confirmed that many drivers were going too fast for the snowy conditions.

State Police do not expect any criminal charges will be filed.
