SURRY, Maine — An 84-year-old man missing from his home in Surry has been found.
The Hancock County Sheriff's Department posted on social media around noon Tuesday the man had been located in Connecticut after a Silver Alert was issued late Monday night.
An update from the Maine Department of Public Safety stated he is now safe.
The Maine Department of Public Safety said Monday night the 84-year-old who suffers from dementia could have been traveling to West Virginia, but did not know anyone there.
