LOVELL, Maine — A missing Lovell woman has been located following a Silver Alert issued Wednesday afternoon.
The Maine Department of Public Safety said in an update Wednesday evening a missing 87-year-old woman from Lovell who had last been seen leaving her home on Allen Road around 10 a.m. has been found and is safe.
Deputies said in the initial alert the woman suffers from cognitive issues and may have traveled to the midcoast area.
