With his rendition of "Cheerleader" by Jamaican singer Omi, Officer Eddie Murphy of the Sanford Police Department is putting Maine on the map among police departments across the country that are using social media to show off their lip-syncing skills.
Murphy said he has been lip-syncing for years and "I thought I would make it official."
We join other Mainers in applauding his moves and anticipate seeing how other Maine police departments respond to the challenge.
