RANGELEY, Maine — A woman from Rangeley has died following a single-vehicle crash in Dallas Plantation on Friday.
Deborah Ryder, 70, was traveling north on Stratton Road when her vehicle reportedly left the road, struck a tree, rolled down an embankment, and settled on its roof in a brook, Maine Department of Public Safety spokesperson Shannon Moss said Monday in a news release.
Franklin County Sheriff's Office and Maine State Police responded to a report about the crash at about 11:40 a.m.
Ryder was pronounced dead at the scene.
The crash remains under investigation.
