MAINE, USA — Hannaford Supermarkets is recalling its private brand breaded chicken cutlets "out of an abundance of caution" due to mislabeling, the New England grocery store chain announced Wednesday.
The company said in a news release it's recalling the 7.5-ounce packages of fully-cooked breaded chicken cutlets purchased in the deli between Jan. 24, 2024, and July 17, 2024. The item "may be missing the 'milk allergen' specification on its label."
Customers are advised to check their freezer or other food storage areas and to not consume the product. It may be returned to your local Hannaford location for a full refund, according to the company.
No illness or injuries have been reported, Hannaford Supermarkets said. Impacted products have reportedly been removed from sale.
