FRYEBURG, Maine — A missing 11-year-old girl has been found after she had last been seen at Molly Ockett School in Fryeburg during recess Thursday.
The Oxford County Sheriff's Office said on social media the girl was seen leaving towards Pine Street at about 12:30 p.m.
In an update at approximately 5:45 p.m., the sheriff's office said the girl has been found and is safe.
MSAD 72 Superintendent Jay Robinson told NEWS CENTER Maine "parents and the local police were notified immediately when the student left school grounds."
