Update: Farmington teen reported missing has been located

Police said Wednesday that they had an in-person conversation with the teen, and he is safe. He is no longer considered missing, according to police.

Police said Wednesday that they had an in-person conversation with the teen, and he is safe. He is no longer considered missing, according to police.

Original Story

The Farmington Police Department is trying to locate a 17-year-old who was reported missing by his parents Tuesday morning.

He was last seen around 8 a.m. Tuesday driving a blue 2013 Subaru Forester with Maine license plates 714 JXA, heading towards Livermore Falls on Route 4, according to a social media post by Farmington police.

Police said he is 6 feet tall and was wearing white Under Armour pants, a blue University of Maine T-shirt, and a brown plaid flannel at the time he was last seen.

Farmington police ask that anyone who may have information call them at 207-778-6311.
