HOWLAND, Maine — A missing teenager has been found safe after Maine State Police said she had last been seen Sunday evening.
The 17-year-old girl from Howland had last been seen at approximately 5:30 p.m. Sunday night on her skateboard near the Handy Shop in Howland after leaving her home, according to a Facebook post from Maine State Police.
State police said the teenager was with her family dog. The teenager did not have a cell phone with her, according to police.
In an update Monday afternoon, Maine State Police said the teenager had been found safely.
