Police said firefighters in Woolwich responded to a fire at about 1 a.m. Sunday at a residence in the 500 block of Old Stage Road. About 15 minutes later, firefighters in Dresden responded to a fire in the 1200 block of Middle Road. Then at 8 a.m., Dresden firefighters responded to another fire in the 1100 block of Middle Road. Mathews, Kane, and Breton were taken to Two Bridges Regional Jail in Wiscasset. Mathews was held on no bail, as police said he already had three sets of bail conditions. Kane and Breton were held on $20,000 bail. The juvenile was released to the custody of a guardian.
"The investigation continues and more charges may be forthcoming," police said in a statement.
