Man faces felony domestic violence assault charge after Holden incident

HOLDEN, Maine — A man from Holden was charged with felony domestic violence assault after an incident early Saturday morning. 

Just after 1:30 a.m., Holden police responded to a "family fight" at a home on Eastern Avenue, the Holden Police Department said on Facebook

Police identified 32-year-old Wilbur Corson of Holden as a suspect in the incident. After Corson refused to exit the home, a search warrant was obtained, according to police.

Corson was taken into custody without incident by the Maine State Police Tactical Team and charged with felony domestic violence assault, police said. He was brought to the Penobscot County Jail.

The Brewer Police Department and Maine State Police Tactical Team assisted with the incident.
